Default Ram Air

I just got the WS6 Ram Air Kit (Hood/Intake Box) on my 2000 Formula and was wondering if this is going to require a tune-up or should I just to peak the performance?

Over my stock hood, I installed a US Exotics WS9 hood and ordered the taller ram air box. Above about 50 mph, I noticed a more responsive acceleration and it seemed to be a much 'crisp' throttle response when I would nail it at about 60+. Before the WS9 hood and ram air box additions, I had the FRA (cut out of the airbox bottom) and probably wasn't getting the best airflow to begin with.

If you're looking for better ET times, I believe it benefits substantially. You won';t see your best gains until you get it up over 80-90 mph. The power only gets better. ON the street, I don't drive fast enough to see equivalent gains. I could tell a difference on the street, though.

Most LT1's and LS1's run in the 100 plus range, so there is a benefit at the track. Every little bit helps.
