Default Raced at SAR NEW BEST MPH

Well, I ran my car for the first time with the new motor. I was on my 18s with 305/35 Nitto drags... I was having traction problems to say the least. I had a great time all and all. Well here is how I did Yes I Know The 60' Is Bad.

On a positive note I got a new best MPH out of my car 125, I was pretty pumped. I can't wait to see what I can do on ET streets. With heads and cam my best was 11.62 @ 119mph, so I'm not even sure what to expect now.

From worst to best

I missed 2nd put it back in spun then just stuck it in 3rd and went lol Almost lost to a 01 GT

60'.........2.0067
330'.......6.1900
1/8........9.1389
1/8mph...88.43
1000'......11.5001
1/4.........13.4291
1/4mph....119.23

60'.........2.1104
330'.......5.6887
1/8........8.3192
1/8mph...94.45
1000'......10.4437
1/4.........12.3125
1/4mph....123.85

60'.........2.0607
330'.......5.3883
1/8........7.9787
1/8mph...95.66
1000'......9.9809
1/4.........12.0001
1/4mph....125.46

Any guesses as to what it will do on tires post it up. H/C best 60' was 1.6 so go by that.

LOL on another note my spec stage III is still holding strong. I had it put in when I got my heads and cam at 30,000miles, and now I have 56,000miles, and 5,000miles with the new motor. It is a normal stage III not an F or what ever else they have. So, I not going to replace it yet after all I want to see how much it is going to take.

Yep that was me in the UT cruizer. Yeah the 60' was crap for sure, I just blew the tires off. I still had a great time though, but I don't want to take it to the track again till I have subframes, and ET Streets... I crinkeled (sp) the **** out of my fenders.

Oh the best part of the night were the grudge matches. The track guy that took down my name did not get what I was saying. He was supost to say "Thomas N the Cam Only LS1", but he thought I said my name was "Thomas Camonly." We got a pretty good laugh out of that.

I'll try to post some vid i have tom. It was filmed on my digital camara so I'm not sure how great it is yet. We have a vid of one of my match races me Vs a green 01 or 02 GT with an S-trim. I gave him the move I did not know it had a blower till after the race lol. If I had known that at the time I would not have given him the move lol. It did not matter though, I came around him real hard. I talked to him after the race it was his best pass of the night a 14.2 @ 105mph. He said he made 375rwhp no I have no idea why it was that slow??? He was a nice guy though.

My dad also got the grudge race of me Vs an 05 GT lol. He called me out I have no clue why. He ran a 13.0 @ 108.

I think he was in the 480 rwhp range if I am not mistaken unless that has changed.

I saw that BADASS ride of yours at SAR. You couldn't get traction for **** until atleast after the 60ft...hell I watched as you babied it out of the hole all night...Everyone was laughing their *** off when you sat at the line while the Green Ford Mustang pulled on ya' out of the hole THEN you gunned it to not only catch it but destroyed it after the 1/8 mile. Everyone in the stands just shook their head in amazement. Nice ride bro.! Hope to see ya' back real soon!

unless he puts some kooks headers with bigger primaries then he would probably be in the 5XX range.

Yeah I was heading to Katy and saw you going to SAR. Not too bad of a time for street tires, I couldn't get better than a 2.0 60ft on street tires either

Thats what I was thinking.... If I had a built 408 the first thing I would do is suspension and tires.

John come on now it was a "business trip," if I'm not mistaken I could see xxxxx cement from the track lol. I just decided to throw the car on the trailer at the last min. Before I went out of town I had to go to conroe to pick up some equipment, so it was a long drive. I will be putting tires, gas, kooks on the car and then we will see what it does.

Why not wait on the gas until you get used to this power?
