solid motor mounts?

solid motor mounts?
i like the idea of having my motor solid but i am wondering if these are a good idea for big power? not that i am at this level but 1000lbs/ft of torque? the thing im worried about is a hard pull and snapping the solid mounts from the tq twist of the motor. can this happen or am i just over paranoid?

I had solid mounts on my LT1 for a month, I had to replace them with poly mounts because the rattling and shaking is unbearable in a daily driver(IMO). If it is a track car or a weekend warrior and you are putting down a ton of power then it may make sense, but if it is a DD, I would go with poly.

Hey,...........anyone got some good advise on how to swap em out since we're on the subject. I'm think'n about swap'n em out at the same time I'm throw'n on the LTs.

I highly recommend poly motor mounts. They stiffen up the structure just enough, without inducing tons of NVH for a daily driver. Solid mounts are going to vibrate like crazy. Trust me you don't want those unless you are road racing, and even then, poly is a good choice.
