HP Tuner - What needed to load SD tune?
Hello.
Need to load a tune that I was emailed. It is a Speed Density tune that has an extension of .hpt and is 462KB in size.
In addition to the base HP Tuner package, do I also need any of the HP Tuner Speed Density add ons? Like the 1 Bar or the 2/3 Bar?
The tune is for an N/A motor.
Thanks for any help.
Perry

Post it, or email it to art1 (@) shaw.ca - I'll tell you. You can always copy over the VE/MAF/PE/timing tables to your tune, if you're confident that the tune is quality. I'd still check it with a wideband, though.

All you need is the regular HPT and the 1-BAR SD custom OS. Nothing more, then simply open you stock file, apply the 1-BAR SD setup, save it. The open the newly saved SD file, open the sent file under the Compare feature and copy over the VE, Spark and other tables needed. No need to copy over the MAF table since it is an SD tune. It is easier/faster done, then I wording it out.

Hello Guys.
Thanks for all the help and info.
I don't know if the tuner would be to happy if I posted his file on the open forum.
It is a reputable tune from the builder of my motor (Now out of state).
I just hate to keep bothering him with all the little questions a newbie keeps having
Thanks, Perry
