Default 12.2 CR on 91 octane

I'm thinking of upgrading my bottom end and was looking at a set of mahle pistons with a dome volume of -4 cc's and ='s 12.2 C/R with a 64 cc head. Will this thing run to lean with 91 octane? If so, what's the max Compression i can run with pump 91? Thanks guys.

My calculator says 11.28:1 Compression ratio. Stock bore ls1, 64CC Head, Stock .052 head gasket, w/ -4cc piston. You can probably run that w/ 91 octane, but you may have to back some timing out to prevent knock.

Exactly, 12.2 might be ok if you are running a really healthy cam. But if you're not in the high 230's or better, thats probably too much.

You had to of entered a number wrong in your calculations. With thoes pistons it will be around 11.2 like said above.
