900RWHP on pump gas?
just wondering if this is possible with forced induction? so many turbo kits and superchargers out there that tuners are building to achieve 800+WHP but they're all doing that on race gas....now why is it there are supras hitting 900WHP easily with only turbo and pump gas?

You wont be able to make 300hp from adding wat/meth. People dont run it to make power, they use it to help prevent detonation.
There are no supras, running 900hp with pump gas. The only car I know that can possibly make that, is a viper.

with the dart lsx block coming out that can go up 454 ci and the gmpp lsx block that can go up to 500 ci, a 1000 hp on pump gas will start being way more common with meth.

so basically if you have a motor that could be near detonation, water/meth would just help prevent it, i see. so whats the most power that anyone has ever gotten out of an lsx motor on pump gas and forced induction?

well parish holds the record at 1011hp. Mightmouse did like 995.
as long as you can keep the heads down, you can make the power.
methanol lowers the intake air temps down to almost to ambient or less which prevents detonation.

a member here made 900 with a 408 and STOCK heads. cant remember if he was a 88 or 91 mm turbo. he wasn't on pump gas though
i believe he said the car went 125 in the 1/8 which is flyin

And the stock head thing dont surprise me.... i bet i could make 500 with low compression pistons on the stock lt1 heads...
Having good heads helps a lot tho...

after seeing some serious fast turbo cars run at the track yest, i have turbo envy but unfortunately for me I dont have the funds to convert over.

Grenading is caused by bad tuning and detonation (weaker parts when power gets to the pretty crazy levels), water/meth can most definitely help stop detonation and thus stop the grenading.
Alky is great cause its kind of like nitrous. Its not always running, so you are efficiently using it only when its needed. Race gas on the other hand is being burnt the whole time.
I use alky to turn up the boost and timing at will and think with the new L92s and LS7s, use over 400ci, 1000rwhp on 93 octane is very obtainable!!
