Default 7000 rpm

On a Heads & Cam car with stock bottom end and hydrolic rollers. What are your thoughts about having a 7000 Rev Limiter?

I had a 7000 rpm limiter on my cam only car for over a year with no issues. Your results may vary though. lol

I spun mine to 7k for about 6 months of road racing. It held up well enough (motor lasted to 70k before it puked).

8000 miles, 7000rpms hundreds of times so far. No problems as of yet.

I have the TR 230/224/heads....I make a little bit of power.

I'm also told the 2001+ motors hold up a bit better to the abuse....not sure how true that is.

It's that whole "LS6 motor" "LS1 motor" debate thing . . .

6800 rpm's here in a couple of months of SPIRITED road racing <img border="0" alt="[evil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />
