WOW! I wasn't sure if I'd ever see a top speed run in one of those things. Thanks for the link!

Sweet!!! The question is: How long will that mark stand? I hear another supercar is gunning to break the Veyron's record.

The locally built SSC Autos car w/ a C5R block and twins has been wind tunnel tested and is thought to be able to do 273!

Your link is broke. I fixed it in my posts.

Neither of those cars have top speeds listed, and the Veyron has over 1000 horsepower. That 700 hp car is fast, but I highly doubt that's enough horsepower to hit 253 mph.

Look at the Aero TT, it's 1180 hp and Blood Enterprises builds the motors in Auburn. They may be at the roadster show.

If Blood builds it, it won't last long enough to hit 273mph.....

That was cool, I like how the driver just seemed so relaxed the whole time.

dang.... They should take more cars to that site for a better comparison.. I'd like to see what other cars can do out there. It'd be fun to compare others.

It wouldn't matter. It doesn't have the range for a 100+ mile event. At top speed a full tank will only get you 50 miles before you are empty!!! (12min @ 250mph = 50 miles)
