Default Heads cam numbers

Recently installed Trex v2 cam and Patriot 59cc heads with 2.055 and 1.57. My power number is 438 rwhp. I have all the bolt-ons including full exhaust w/ no cats, ASP pulley, Vararam, Fast 90/90, stock rockers, stock injectors, and stock MAF. pushrods, lifters are Comp. Rear is 4.10. Does this number seem correct? Stock bottom end and pistons aren't flycut. Car is an LS1 Corvette. Thanks.

Seems low...maybe running lean due to injectors.

Don't forget. Don't IRS's in vette's dyno a slight bit less than our solid axles?

I have looked at numbers for other cars with mild cams and they run much higher than this.

Still seems low.....Some trex cam-only cars are hitting 430 - 440 with all boltons, etc. So, 430 seems kinda low for trex and heads even on a vette.

Who knows though.....take it to the track!

Tuning was done by Vengeance Racing here in GA. They did not build the engine but they did recommend I remove my harlands for stock rockers.

That's a pretty good number if done on an accurate number. I mean, you're running some cheap heads. Don't expect miracles.

With ported LS6 head a 232/238 600 lift cam and headers, no cats through the stock Ti's i did numbers in sig. Also I have a callaway honker cai. This is with the stock LS6 intake and stock pullies. Numbers sound a bit low. Maybe you should get the manifold and tb ported and switch to a set of TFS heads.

The TB and the manifold are both ported. Could it be the tune?

i have the t-rex with ls6 intake and headers and made 410rwhp. i just installed the patriot ls6 stage 2 64 cc with 42 pound injectors and waiting for a tune. when i tune my cra it will let you know about what your car should be but i think the injectors are holding you back because when i went cam only my duty cycle was 103% and only made 410rwhp. i think injectors are the big problem.

You say you are 410 rw cam only? With LS6 intake? That would be awesome. Let me know what your numbers are. I will get injectors. Does that mean I need to tune again? Are Patriot heads Garbage????

Ron at Vengeance said the injectors made no difference. I asked him about the MAF and he said it made no difference. Vengeance also said that harland sharps 1.7s would lower my power due to the weight of them. So I took his word for it and went back to the stock rockers. I'm new to this so I went with what he recommended.

Brian,

Here is your dyno graph if it helps sort things out at all..

Also, Here is your final air fuel after tuning....

Mike left it a tad rich up top because of your compression.

Actually, just to clarify... I said you do not need to upgrade your injectors @ 430rwhp... They are not maxxed out. Same thing on the maf. You are not pegging your maf @ 430rwhp... As for the Harlands, we use them quite often on the TFS heads. They are heavier, and when we can use stock rockers we prefer to. Your combo with the Comp R lifters, 7.45 pushrods and Harlands was causing severe valve float from 5k up.. Thus the reason for stock rockers/7.40s being installed.
