Default speed and gear question.

I got clocked last nite from a cop of a friend, and he said I was doing 43mph and I had my cruise set at 50mph. Wouldnt this prove the 3:73 gear notion, or could it be cause I have 18" wheels??

yeah. Im kinda thinking that too. But when Im doing 70mhp my rpms are 2500????

Having 18" is only a little part, what is the tire size?
