I find this price pretty decent as Texas Speed has always had good deals. This would be the compliment to the parts you already have, or are you looking for a used forged motor? http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/item...d=686&catid=20

550 FWHP or RWHP?

A builder in Lauderdale is doing 416ci LS2 blocked, L92 heads and L76 intake engines. 530 rwhp with a tiny 228 cam. He specializes in building nitrous engines too.

No resleeving. You probably can go .010" over on the LS2 liners safely. I would include my .0005" honing also in that number for forged pistons. Go with a 4.125" crank stroke = 416ci.

We just completed a 402cui in a 2006 A6 Vette, netted 474rwhp and 475rwtq with a "baby" cam on a Mustang MD-1100SE dyno only spinning to 6000rpm. Larger cam and 1000 more revs will get you there.

Nice torque numbers. What do you think about the L92 block's capabilities?

The torque numbers are what really gets that car going too, especially with the six speed auto. It still has the stock torque converter as well. It's making 378rwtq at 2500rpm. I'm attributing most of that to the heads. The new Trick Flow stuff is very nice. The car was exactly what the customer wanted. A lot of torque down low without having to spin the hell out of it to make power, and that's why the motor is only reving to 6000rpm, then it flattens out for another 400rpm before starting to loose power.

Depends on what type of build you were doing. If you wanted a 418ci nitrous motor, it'll make the power, but will probably fail sooner than a 402ci FI motor. Both would make about 800hp set up correctly.

We have 402, 408 & 418 stroker short blocks in stock that will work well with those heads. If you need a short block give us a call.

Nitrous + L92 =

The L92 heads don't tend to hold head gaskets very well.

This is the way to go in my opinion and looks like the consensus.
