Where and WHo had best price for ?????? Street driven LS motor that will make at least 550hp.....i already have a brand new set of L92 heads and Carb. intake!! This is going into a 1969 camaro, and YES, i want NOS "nitrous oxide" ..........thanks

A builder in Lauderdale is doing 416ci LS2 blocked, L92 heads and L76 intake engines. 530 rwhp with a tiny 228 cam. He specializes in building nitrous engines too.

We just completed a 402cui in a 2006 A6 Vette, netted 474rwhp and 475rwtq with a "baby" cam on a Mustang MD-1100SE dyno only spinning to 6000rpm. Larger cam and 1000 more revs will get you there.

The torque numbers are what really gets that car going too, especially with the six speed auto. It still has the stock torque converter as well. It's making 378rwtq at 2500rpm. I'm attributing most of that to the heads. The new Trick Flow stuff is very nice. The car was exactly what the customer wanted. A lot of torque down low without having to spin the hell out of it to make power, and that's why the motor is only reving to 6000rpm, then it flattens out for another 400rpm before starting to loose power.
Depends on what type of build you were doing. If you wanted a 418ci nitrous motor, it'll make the power, but will probably fail sooner than a 402ci FI motor. Both would make about 800hp set up correctly.
