Default Got my dual spring kit in - Seats are different!

Just got my dual spring kit in from TSP. I ordered the PRC kit and have a couple questions.
1. The seats all look great except for 2 of them are diff than the others. They have a jagged edge like they were not filed down around the lip that holds the spring, plus the diameter of that lip that holds the spring is smaller than the rest of them so the spring moves around more. Is this going to cause any problems? Should I file down the lip? I dont want to srat shaving my brand new seats but want to be sure they dont gouge up my spring to and cause dammage later on. It doesnt seem right to me but I've never installed springs before.
2. everyone that I've heard mention the exh and int valve seals say they are different which is why one is black and one brown. Well I have 16 of them but they are all identicle. Are they all suppost to be the exact same?

yeah they have been real busy lately. Just keep trying, or try emailing them. They really need to get a queue set up on their phones

I e-mailed them 3 weeks ago about something else and never got a reply so dout that would be suitable for an answer.

I've never bought anythign from TSP but have never heard anyone complain about them and John seems to be a pretty nice guy the little I've talked to him.
I guess I'll just try back first thing in the morning and see if I can get someone on the phone again.

Based on your description, replace the two seats that are different. As for the seals, sometimes they use the exhaust seal on both to save on the confusion or they could be aftermarket and not GM.

I called and sent them pics of the seats and they said some bad ones somehow must have slipped through the cracks somehow. Good thing I noticed this when i got the springs in and didnt try to put them in the car!

Most of mine were the same except a few have a slight angle at the top of the lip holding the spring in place and 2 were the ones that they are replacing.

Yeah, I was in the same dilema as this guy was unfortunately (with the valve seals) and my dumbass goes and buys another set of seals from a local dealership (w/ the diff. intake and exhaust versions) and totally redo them. Talk about wasted time, when I found out that the identical ones would have worked just fine...
