That M3 is dirty. I wish they would go with a turbo motor, or at least a supercharger.

LOL they will outhandle the M6 no problem. And it's going to go just fine with the V8. I'll let you know when we get one in.
The 335s are kick *** cars. I want a 2 door so bad, but my next ride has to be a daily driver. I just can't see myself abusing the 335i that bad. Next thing you know the TA would be out in the cold.
The only thing I'm still not a huge fan of, is the rear end on the E90/92 cars. Other than that, they are insane.

Seems like it could be a decent performer.
I considered an E46 M3 for a brief second but being more of a domestic nameplate kind of guy I went with a Corvette instead.

Just like Marc (LS1LT1) said, for the cost of the M3, I'd rather have a new corvette. I know the argument of 'german engineering, blah blah blah' and oh, it has a back seat, yeah, but so does my T/A.
They are nice, and I'd love to get a 540 as a daily driver, but if you're looking for power and performance, then I'd go with a good ole American pushrod V8.

I know it will go fine, but I would like to see a forced induction motor in it.
I'd rather have the vette, depending on the use, but numbers are not the only thing people buy cars on.

m3's are pure sex. I love the lines to them, the handling, and the power to em. A 425hp v8 m3 would def be a great car. Corvette vs m3, I'd probably choose the corvette. But, different tastes for different people.

The problem I have with the latest BMW M offerings is torque. Yes in perfect conditions if you actually change from 400 hp to 500 hp mode and dial up the right traction, gear change, and launch control settings they are fast. But in the real world give me the E63 465 lb ft and 507 hp. Instead of 500 hp and 383 lb ft that needs all the moons to align to be fast. And the M3 is actually rumoured to only have right around 300~ lb ft.
