Default Will the Bottom End crap on me?

Well, I am doing LS6 intake/ported heads, TREx, LT's, LS7 lifters, LS2 timing chain, hardened 7.400 pushrods, PRC dual spring kit and an LS6 oil pump. Doing ARP head bolts as well.

I am wondering if the stock bottom end will crap on me when I get a tune and rev this engine with this new setup? I hear things about the con-rod bolts and am curious. I just have bolt-ons as of now with 113k miles on the clock, M6.

Thanks!

Sorry to hijack, but it might pertain to your question.Does anyone know what a shop may charge to swap out rod bolts? How long would it take(labor hours)?

Personally IMO if I were you I would look into building a shortblock b\c that is a lot of miles. I have a 02 Z06 w\ 8000 miles on it, I sprayed it w\ a 100 shot wet, stretched a rod bolt and cracked the #7 piston in half. Most guys know it as the dreaded #7 piston try search and you will find the thread about this. Anyway good luck man I hope she holds up.

I think if you stay na you will be okay, I wouldnt spray on a motor with that many miles on it But on the other hand, if you brake the bottom end you can get a forged one, and then bring on the N2O.

i know the oil pan gasket pays 4ish hours. i did it on my car under warranty and got paid for all of it instead of my 30% commission
