I just got the vette outta the shop. It made 564rwhp/512rwtq, up about 30 from before. I went from 7psi to 9psi using wastegate springs. They said my costco 92 gas was causing spark knock, so the timing was limited, and costing some power. I wonder if I should run some Torco to prevent the KR and try more timing, so I can run a "high octane map" for the track?

Maybe try that Octanium. Seems to be a true proving octane booster and they are a sponser here...

That is pretty interesting about the gas!! I wonder what gas is recommended?
What gas does everyone else use? I plan on adding a bit of 101 or even 105 octane gas when I run the nitrous.........just to be safe.

Once the Vette is out of the dealership the Zhawk goes in for ASB so after that we will be ready to run I think we are going to stay with Pacific this year.

I was running a little race gas to help that Chris. Like 2-4 gal per tank of gas. Now I use meth injection - knock is ALL gone. And it make more power too. I know it's another $500, but you might consider it. Ryan uses the Snow kit, I use the Alky Control kit.....
And I agree, bring on the sun!!! :)

To everyone. If you do not buy the best gas possible you are giving up what you are tring to get ;) I pretty much run a mix of Chevron 92 and Sonoco 100ul ;) 12 to one CR and a 200RW Shot gets the job done with room to spare.
Glad your car is ready to go man! I took a few nights this week to try and get my car ready for a Photo Shoot but in the end I was not even close :(

I like the Alky idea too, they always show big torque numbers. I will check into that!

Out of curiousity, you on the stock block Chris?
Seems that highest boost I see on a stock block on a LSx is 7PSI at most
Seems the TTi kits are real performers, and is most likely the kit I Will be going with in the future! :)

Time for battle of the red Z06s; 564/512 vs 550/636. Great going Chris, just in time for draging, if the weather is on our side. Come on by and give me a ride in that beast, or we'll see ya at the track. :chug: :drive:

It'll be interesting thats for sure. I'm hoping to see over 575rwhp and praying for closer to 600rwhp. We'll see this coming Saturday. But my coupe weighs more than your Z's.
All 3 of us are going to need to run race fuel to keep safe. :judge:

Yeah the only problem is my runs will be limited, cuz no roll bar. It doesn't feel much different, but is a bit stronger and the stiff clutch should help improve last year's 11.4 to a maybe a 10.9? I was completely off the throttle every shift due to the weak clutch. Now I can rip it!
I got a dyno vid 4 ya. http://cjstewart4a.home.comcast.net/564rwhp_TTiX.avi

I guess I'll just be the slow vette in the back :(
Right now I'm working on my Jeep's suspension, but once I finish that up I'll be getting a new clutch, upgrading the rearend, and getting some ET streets...so I should be a little faster this year.
