Default does anyone know what this connecter is?

i was asking about this one at the end my question about the vacuum line. but no one seems to know what this is. the cam sensor and crank sensor are plugged in and this one is kinda left over.

the wires are red-pink-brown w/ a white stripe

its this one right next to the coil harness plug

Well I can tell you that it is for a sensor because 3 wire connectors are usually % volt reference, signal and ground. So think of any sensor.

the ac hi pres switch is round, but thanks for playing our game, as a consilation prize you and a friend will recieve rice a roni, the san fransisco treat.

and after posting that i must infrom all who think im being an a$$, i do appreciate the help i was just being funny.

and while most 3 wire plugs do indeed go to sensors can't they also go to a switch, even though i cant think of one right now. the only reason i say this is most pink wires in this harness are 12 volts switched, i think?

Well if the cam and crank sensors are accounted for the only other 3 wire sensors that I can think of are the MAP and the MAF. I looked at the ones on mine but my MAF is the 5 wire one and my MAP has different wires going to it. Don't know if the wiring changes between the cars vs. the trucks but mine is from a truck. Hope it helps.

That is a mystery there is nothing on the passenger's side. The Knock sensors are on the other side and that plug wouldn't reach.....how long is that wire and where does it join back into the main harness?

I have a 99 f body harness and the red/pink/brown w/ wht stripe is connected to the cam sensor. I checked alldata electrical diagrams and it is the can sensor.

ok now im cunfused. where is the cam sensor located? i thought it was the one on the rear of the driver side head? and then the map sensor is at the rear of the intake?

so is it the crank sensor that plugs in by the back of the driver head?

crank sensor is behind the starter on driver side. Cam sensor is at the rear of the lifter valley below the map sensor. Looks like you don't have the crank sensor hooked up.

i was sitting on my throne (taking a poop, told you i would give yas a visual) and was reading the newest issue of car craft and they are building an lq4 and mention something about having to raise the cam sensor to put the new cam in and they showed a picture.........

so i go check it i couldnt see it, but i felt it and it plugged right in. so, thanks guys for your help.
