would y'all buy this for $6500?
One thing that I like about the seller is that he is up front about everything that it needs/etc, BUT I just found out that it shows water/flood damage. He said that it was never in a flood, but his GF drove it and messed up the engine so that is what he told the insurance?
who knows.
either way. heres an email I got from him about 20 min ago, let me know if y'all would pay $6500 for it. He wanted 8k and it seemed like he wouldnt go any lower then 6500.
Here is a list of all the mods complete with pictures and things that need to be fixed. Let me know if you need anything else.
The motor was replaced at 120,000 miles with a motor that had 70,253 miles. The car now has 133,000 miles. I had the top end of the motor refreshed/rebuilt with all new gaskets, seals and rings. The transmission was completely rebuilt with all new parts by TransMan at 100,000. My motor was replaced by my insurance company. The vin# 2G2FV22P9T2208550 will show that the motor/car was damaged by flood water. Nothing happened to the interior of the car. Anyway the motor has a lifetime warranty from my nationwide insurance against internal damage such as pistons, crank etc. About 6 months ago a guy cut me off so my front bumper got ripped off by his hitch. His insurance replaced my front bumper, left front fender, head light assemblies, a/c condenser and radiator assembly. All the power accessories except a/c are new: alternator, starter, power steering, water pump, optispark distributor, Taylor wires and plugs. I recently replaced every single sensor for the car, big $$$. Let me know if you need anything else.

It's not a p.o.s but you can find a high mile LS1 for 'bout the same or even less w/a clear title, But it ultimately comes down to if you really like it and if works for you or not. Just don't be in a hurry to buy something
