Default td vs catback

hey guys im really torn between getting either TSP True Rumbler X true duals system 3" or ORY and hooker catback.

Ive done searches and im not getting answers i need like, will i go deaf or get tinitus by dumping a 3 " exhaust right before the axle??

I really cant stand drone or vibrations,..and as for running it all the way to the back, will it quiet it much down? what is the cost of going all the way to the back in installation cost? on a tight budget here.

As for the ORY & Hooker setup, will it cause that raspy sound without cats?

Are the BHP difference between catback and TD really that radical?

ls1sounds.com doesnt help me much on laptop speakers..

I've already gotten Pacesetter LT's, just need to finish up the rest of my exhaust
thanks in advance

Dumping TDs before the axle will not be quiet by any means. Running it out the back will be alot quieter but more $.

True duals out the back and tight budget dont really go together in the same sentence.

It just depends who/where its getting done. Shop around, I know a guy who was charged $300 for 2.5" 1-chambers ran over the axle including mufflers.

theres no rasp with longtubes ory and hooker catback...

http://s57.photobucket.com/albums/g2...t=MOV01595.flv

its not the best for hearing the sound of the exhaust because its pretty much a wide open throttle burnout but yeah...

however.. even though i like the sound its not loud enough for me.. its loud in high revs but how often do you actually drive in that range? Its my DD so i might be going to tsp duals with sweet thunders because i actually want it to be loud.. i dont care, muscle cars are suppose to be loud.. although tsps might be on back order, you might want to check that..

i ordered mine straight from jegs, the guy at pacesetter said that they would be shipped to jegs next week. i ordered them 2 days ago. and the guy at jegs said they would be at my house 3-5 business days from the day they get them. so im looking at about 2 weeks from now before i get mine.

Well i dont mind being really loud on the throttle, but i mean like when im cruising at normal speeds..will there be much drone? kinda like highway cruising or just driving slow.

actually the meaner and louder the better, but i want to be able to have a conversation with my girlfriend in the car without us yelling at each other just to talk you know. I used to have a real loud exhaust on another car and it was madness..dont want the same thing again.

that burnout vid, i think the lt,ory and hooker catbak actually sounds pretty decent.hmmm...my car is pretty much stock except for a filter/lid, will it yield alot more power with td's?

Your right, b/c I had a 3" TD setup with Flowtech afterburner's dumped...and I can tell it pulls harder with that setup, than my Hooker catback/3" y-pipe setup now.

But that will change, b/c I goin' back

i cant speak for other people td setups. but my tsp setup w/dynomax bullets has a lot of drone, and so does the sweet thunder mufflers. im sure there are other mufflers for duals that cut down on the drone but for the ones ive heard so far there's a lot.

I was just sick of the ground clearance issues and I actually preferred the sound of my GMMG over the duals. The duals sounded amazing at WOT but around town they just sounded kinda unrefined and nasty.
