Default Anybody with Black cars with FLAT black stripes??

I'd like pics to see the contrast. I'm thinking of doing some kinda stripes in Flat black OR Charcoal would work too. I tried the search feature but it isn't working. Thanks guys~Cole~

yeah i love those stripes on the birds I just don't want something that's to standout-ish. I want something subtle yet aggressive lookin' .

flat black stripes on a black car may just make the car look like the paint's worn in some areas

I am considering Charcoal stripes on the sides of my cowl, I bought a set to see what they will look like so when the get here I will post up some pics. I am looking for something subtle but that still defines the shape a little more.

Something like this:

Also, DEMONBIRD has made a few suggestions that might look pretty good too. One is to have a Charcoal outline to a red stripe. It would look like this.

no flat black stipes here, but i have always thought that would look badass, recall the old dodges with the two tones, i have seen a few flat on gloss black and it looked sweet

I think charcoal would look pretty sweet on your car.

I don't think you can wax flat black can you? it won't really be flat black anymore if you do.

Flat black with a charcoal or silver outline would be amazing. Also small silver or chrome lettering/numbering on the stripe, maybe?

I have the 35th LE flat black scoop insert on my Onxy black 02 SS. You have to be in the right light to see it.
Now you see it:

Now you don't:

Ok guys i think i'm gonna go flat black. I really like the fact that it looks hidden until the right light and angle. That's what i want i don't want something that stand out too much but still is there. ya know? I think i'll either do 35th's in flat black or long hockeys. I'm really leaning towards hockey's though~Cole~

Isn't that a colour combo on the new Mustangs. I remember being impressed with the look can't remember if it was a true flat black or charcoal.
