Default Just bought a Neal Chance... Got some ???

BTW these guys aren't afraid to actually talk to you about what you're using it for and they are VERY thorough... I talked to Marty and he said that it should stall to around 2800 on the street, around 3000 on a footbrake, and 3500-4000 on a transbrake... He said to THRASH it and if anything happens to send it back with no questions asked...

I have no concerns about hurting it but I just want some tips on breaking it in, possible maintenance, any other input that someone can input... It's a 9 1/2" supercharger converter...

I'm soooo excited to get this bad boy in...It was expensive but I believe that it will be worth it...Thanks for your time guys...

Don't worry about breaking it in. Marty knows what he is talking about! I've done business with him on several occasions. Do just like he said, give it hell!

Good deal bro... I'm really stoked about this... I just didn't want to have the same problems that many others were having with other converters (not saying all) and they have a really good track record...Do you know how much they charge for a refresh when the time comes?? If need be you can PM if you know and don't want to say on here...

I did not know they made a LS1/4l60e converte (Assuming that is what you have).. How much was it and does it have a lockup clutch?

It's for a TH400.... It's going in a RMVB T-braked TH400... The only other major contender on the boards that I know of is Kyle (NA$TY_TA) and he loves it...

The one that I have is a non-lock up converter... It's a bit pricey but I don't mind since it's really good quality... I'll pm you the price list since it's a non-sponsor here... Don't want to break the rules... =)

For anyone that questioned if they can make a converter for a 4L60E the answer is yes. I think that it's about half the price of mine but they probably have some that aren't listed...

Wanted to bring this back and let you guys know that I have nothing but kind words to say about Marty and the staff at Neal Chance... This thing looks more than up to the task and they even inscribe your name on the converter itself... I'm very pleased!!!
