Sounds like you are on the right track so far. I would vote for the borla unless you want a real loud set up. Hooker also makes a pretty decent cat back for a pretty decent price. I dont know if the headers will be coated but I would get them ceramic coated. Tires... not cheap but Goodyear GS-D3 are pretty awesome and u might want to look into KDWs

save the money and get the good stainless steel headers get the y-pipe made specifically for you and what fits underneath, the exh all depends on how loud you want it what your planning on doin with your car you dont wanna be buying different exh's , what tires are you looking for drag radials or regular tires id say drag radials go with m/t regular tires go bfgoodrich kdws

You cant really go wrong with a 3" Y and a trusted catback, but I say look around, you might be able to find a shop that'll fab you up duals for about the same price as a catback. If you decide to get duals you'd also have to buy mufflers, but mufflers alone aren't expensive.

thanks for the help i was considering the TDs but i need to find out how much that is vs. not having them and with the cat back system i was told i would get better performance from the slp instead of the borla (also half the cost of borla)...and then another thing, a set of headers ( which i would get coated) are they really going to do much a difference...heard they wouldnt?

TD's all the way and if you have the money for Stainless headers then get um, if not and you dont see large amounts of snow and salt, then the pacesetters will work perfectly fine.

Headers is the best bang for your buck next to nitrous, I had an ORY and it got destroyed by an evil evil hill. I'm having true duals built.

my LT, ORY, Flowmaster did not rasp, but it also didn't flow very well. You can have a true dual system built for a similar price. I never got my car on a dyno So I can't give you a comparison, but the car trapped 105mph in the 1/4 with the flowmaster, I'll revisit the track in the next month or two to see what I picked up with true duals.

Get stainless headers and check out http://www.ls1sounds.com

Take you're time and really think about what you want to do with the car.
