Think I'll buy some stock in JB-Weld.

Trying to make lemonade out of lemons, is it possible to fit a 6.0L in a car? If so, you now have the perfect excuse to get one.

Look at it this way, make do difference if you have a hairline crack in the block or a big hole. its still broke and ya have to build a new one. So if ya break, break it good.

If you'll use them, I'll donate a set of 853 heads off of my 2000 C5..
Just pay for shipping

Was he talking about the heads for the coffee table engine or for the rebuild? But yeah, that's a great idea... but my wife won't let me. No engines in the house

Nor do I feel like grenading any of the engines I have right now.

Good luck!!

I was thinking the same thing. I wouldn't be surprised if the cam is cracked/broken too.

No biggie..
I've been helped out MANY times by fellow C5 owners. Just tryin to give back. The offer still stands if for some reason you need them.
