Default upgrading my brake setup help plz.

time to replace the pads on my trans am, they are from orileys wagner thermo quites they are gettin replaced for free so i see no need to spend money on differnet/better ones unless these really suck and i need to?!?

my issue is i want to go ahead and replace my rotors as well with some drilled and slotted ones but not sure which ones to go with? can i get some help here on these? where would be the cheapest/best place to buy these, im not scca'in the car and i dont drive it hard but i really need it for drag racing/ high way racing.

i am as well going to leave the calipers stock and go ahead and repaint them red. but is there any thing else i should upgraded while im down there.
any input/advice would be great thanks

Cross drilled and slotted rotors are not an upgrade. Stick with blanks. Most use either Brembo OEM blanks or AutoZone DuraLast Rotors. If you want better braking, get better pads and fluid.

I can search and post many many threads on this subject.

i would go with cross drilled and slotted from WS6 store and then just fluid from autozone or what not. i think most people use royal purple or something...i might be talkin out my *** on the fluid though, don't know much about it.

as far as pads and rotors, my setup in the end is going to be ws6 store cd/s rotors and hawk hps pads...i know a lot of people with this setup and they like it.

ATE Super Blue brake fluid.
Sam Strano has it.
It may not be on his website, but call him.

I see you are in Ft. Worth ... locally, you can go to a shop at Motorsports Ranch called Performance Speedtech and get the stuff off the shelf.

Tell AJ that Mitch sent you. He might be able to hook you up on rotors as well.
