Default Smells like chicken..

I was cruising out on some back roads earlier this morning after work and this happened. I was doing about 90mph, so it was quick, and all I saw was feathers come over the Windshield..

Went right up the Airdam, bounced off of the Radiator, and landed as it sat in the pic.

Man that is pretty crazy! Thankfully no one else was hurt. I've seen some pretty crazy birds on the road lately. Was coming back from Austin about a month ago and I saw this huge hawk try and fly across the highway. The stupid thing waited until cars got right up on it and tested it's abilities. The thing hit the windshield of a suburban that was in front of me and it went straight up in the air for like at least 50 ft and then landed in the middle of the road as I went underneath it.

Thats funny! I once had a cat bird swoop down and try to attack me through the wind shield. I was only going about 30 mph and I swear I saw the bird look at me from the tree before it swooped down and bounced off of my windshield.

hey you better be careful Merv, PETA is gonna be coming after you hahaha

Here in West Texas we have these huge owls, I am talking like a 4 or 5 ft wing tip to wing tip, well I was driving late at night then all I see is feathers, scared the crap out of me, it cracked my windshield left a big old dent in the hood and destroyed my driver side mirror on my old work pickup,

oh yea why does your radiator look like its loose?

It's not.. It sets back there for the LS1 Lid Intake I made. I just took off my Cover Plates for the Pics..

Some of you all talk about that being a freak occurance, I actually killed 3 birds, that was just the one that was in the car. I drove by there an hour after I made the first post, there was 2 dead in the road. I think I bounced one off of the Windshield(explains the Feathers), and ran one over. It was a Flock that decided to fly right in front of me at 90 mph..

I bet you it didn't feel it, it was quick. I don't swerve for nothing, unless I absolutely have to. I am not loosing my car over a bunch of birds.
It looked funny for a couple of seconds when there was feathers coming from under the Hood though.
