Default ls7 cam in ls1

the specs i believe are about 211/230 .590/.590 120 lsa


how would this run on a bolt on car with a ls7 valvetrain swap and full bolt ons/spray

You'd probably make more power if you increased the intake duration up to 224~226 and drop the LSA down to 112.

yea i know, but my buddy just cammed his z06 and he has his whole ls7 valvetrain, and stock cam. and im just wondering how this would do

It's close to a cheaTR cam, and probably wouldn't be horrible, but it won't slip into your LS1.

This is true. Might work great as a powerful stealth cam but it is not compatible with an LS1/6.

Hey Predator if the LS7 cam would fit, the offset rockers wouldnt work, so would he have to go w/ stock 1.7 on intake and if so that would knock down the lift to 0.557?


ohhh thats what i was trying to get at, the cam wont fit in?

i was informed the ls7 cam has no cam wheel sensor so i'll just either end up pickin up a ls6 cam or a thunder racing cam

lol, you still havent decided on a cam.
