Default 12.9 Camaro with DR's Magazine article

Does anyone remember a magazine article from back in 02-03 where they took a black camaro ss M6 fitted it with drag radials and ran a 12.9 1/4 mile time.I think it was either car craft or hot rod magazine but I am not sure.Does anyone remember?

Don't know which magazine but totally believable. I've seen m6 with
DR's hit 12.9 and better. I hit 12.9 in my a4 with 3.73's and DR's

This is an article from Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords. It is the third page down. Not a black camaro but it still ran a 12.9.

that little middle section aboaut the camaro, i have seen that before and had it as a background on my laptop for awhile. Good ****, and to think, when the bullit came out i was thinking how they looked pretty nice and would walk my IROC hard. Didnt know it was basically just a light bolt on gt with alittle better suspension.

I like when they underestimate my car almost as much as I like the look on their face when I beat them.
