Project Update: Completed!
Great news, the project is done!
I will be getting pic today hopefully, the camera was out of batteries lol.
The project went smooth for the most part, all things considered. I added up the price of the parts, it coming out to be almost 6,000 Good thing I saved all the parts from the LT1 car.
I also did 95% of the matience to the car, filters, fluids, brakes, and wrapped the clutch line. I need to chng the clutch fluid and re adjust the ebrake. It catches but not enough.
The cat back is in place but not connected, it's short, so I will have a new pipe welded in and then I am all set.
FYI no SES light, no nothing. Sounds mean with the headers and cats but not too loud which makes me happy.
I hope to have a vid after I clean her up this afternoon.
I am expecting 335-340 rwhp, due to the driveline.

The way JL positioned the y pipe, not one rattle!

I was wondering it the Y was gonna hit.. I tucked it up as high as I could without it for sure hitting the tranny x-mamber. Once you have it on the ground if you want to raise it up, just cut that little tab off the tranny x member and you'd be able to turn that one piece up probably a good 1+inch.
Now I know whay redscreamin's Y hangs like it does, I don't think he cut the tab off to turn the pipe up.
Definately get some pic's up, I wanna see the car with those wheels on it clean... should be a dramatic improvment.
Brad the I pipe of the catback is about 4 inches short from where it was cut off, and the tips are welded on, but I think they are gonna need an adjustment after the hangars get moved, for some reason it seems like they were in a slightly different sopt for his 94 lt1 car, but I can't say for sure. It's close, but off just enough so that it's not right. And the clutch fluid looks like mud... definately needs to be changed.. the old syringe trick should get it taken care of I think.
Alot of work, but the end result should be good.

I got it to fit, with about a thumb worth of clearance. Cutting the crossmember tab off (which I still can't figure out what that is for) would allow the drivers side pipe to get tucked up about 2 inches farther probably. The passneger's side is tucked good, just that one pipe that needs to get moved up.
Not my car, so I wan't about to get the cutoff wheel and hack anything off it. If it was my car and that was a problem, that tab would have been off with a quickness.

JL- I still have some lug nuts I need to bring over. If you could stop down to my work, maybe I will remember in the morning to grab them out of the garage.
