No deal. When he gets in the 14's I would start CONSIDERING it depending on what kind of blemishes we are talking and vehicle history. It would take 13's for me to buy that car personally. Especially when I got my stock 01 WS6 tripple black M6 for 12,000+TTL. 72K highway miles.

Being that you live in the Bay Area just like me, I say that is a pretty good price for a 02 SS with 57,000 miles. I have seen SS with more miles go for a bit higher. I say that if you can't get him to bring it down to 15,000, that would be pretty good. It also depends on what kind of blemishes it has. Alot of people will tell you that price is too high, but these cars are more expensive around here, especially at a dealer.

The blems are not to bad I guess...The only ones really being is that the paint is slightly cracked on the nose and one headlight is fadding ...Besides that everything is pretty good...the interior looks brand new...I offered the guy 15,800 but he didn't take it ...Oh ya, the car also has chrome ss wheels and the center mount exhaust out back...

It seems a little high, especially for having some paint imperfections.

I picked up my 02 Z28 for $16k from a dealer in 11/05, and it only had 22k miles.

getting a straight answer to this question is kind of hard b/c these cars will go for diff prices depending on what part of the country you are in, see where Im from in Houston, Texas, that car would have been sold last week, it would be a great deal here. **** i drove all the way to Florida to get my '02 Z28 M6 all stock, one owner, and of course Sunset Orange Metallic with 37k on the clock for $15,500 and IMO I got a steal, now BLKW.S6 may say where ever he is from my car would have went for 10K or some outrageously low price but down south a clean, stock 6 spd is hard to come by and will command top dollar. So check with members on here who live in Cali, like Camaro01SS4life, who have had experience with buying cars in your area as their opinions will be the most valuable.

I paid $20,500 for mine with 8,000 miles so I would think you are getting a good deal.

I live in the Chicago area and bought my car new. I had the luxury of driving from dealer to dealer that I used the internet to find NIB SOM SS's. I was able to deal because there was always another car to go look at.

You on the other hand do not have that luxury. If that car is the one you want you were 5% from owning it. Before he sells to someone else, you need to have a long talk with yourself about what you want and the price your willing to pay.

Remember they don't make these anymore. I think the secret is out as to how fast these LS1's are too!

I say the ball is in your court.

Since when is 57k miles low for an 02 car??

By the way, I bought my car in San Bruno, just south of San Francisco, so I'm in the same neighborhood.

The guy initially had the car priced for 17,000 but i guess he wasn't getting all that much interest on the car...So he dropped it 500..KBB has it listed for right around what he is asking while edmunds is suprisingly 2,000 lower ...I was actually lookin to buy a LS1 later on in the year but if I come across one now that is decent i might go after it...Thats why I am askin is this somewhat of a deal...I bought a new 01 SS awhile back and then got rid of it about 3 years ago...Since then I have been out of the loop...Just not sure how these cars are holdin there value and what ever else...I am only in the market for a stock SS with somewhat low miles...Thats for the advice fellas

Prices may be different in the bay area, but around here it's a tad high. I'd get him in the mid/low 15's and take it (as long as the said blemishes aren't too bad).
