TA Aluminum Covers for 10 bolts-worth it???

Question TA Aluminum Covers for 10 bolts-worth it???

just wondering what yall thought about the TA covers for the 10 bolts are they worth the almost $200? my friend is talking about getting one.

I think they are around 150, plus extra for the stud kit. There is another thread here comparing all the aftermarket covers (when search works again).
I put a TA on my 10 bolt because I believe it helps strengthen the weak rear end. But opinions will vary, as you will most likely see.

i heard someone on here telling that when he put the ta cover on his trans am the aftermarket gear whining quit. i know the stock rears SUCK and will break thats why im wondering if the cover actually helps any. i just wanted to see what everyone thought.

10 bolts = Borrowed time, you may get to extend it a lil more.

I wanna get one just coz it looks pretty and makes fluid changes easier. I also want to put 4.10 gears in it....just don't know if I should or not since my stock gears (98 car with 60k miles on it) are still perfectly fine.

I have the TA cover but I still change fluid the traditional way.
