Thumbs up Got 14k Loan, Finnaly buying a TA soon!!

Damn right, I've been a fan of Fbodies for the longest time and I finally decided to get a loan ($14,000)and get me one with hopefully, reasonably low miles.

I currently own a 2004 Dodge stratus coupe (4 banger) and will sell it soon.
I decided on a 2000+ trans am (black if possible), want a 6 speed but havent driven standard in a while so I think I forgot how to, so I might go for the A4.

My plans for this car are the following: Daily driver, street car, may see track action maybe once a month or less. Mostly streetable stuff, Mild Cam/head combo with supporting bolt-ons. I realize some stuff is gonna lower my gas mileage but I hope nothing too bad because it's the DD.

I'm currently stationed at NAS JAX, FL. So yeah, if there's any FL. F-body car meets, let me know.

I've done alot of research, but if theres any pointers I'd gladly listen. I'm looking forward to joining the F-body community.

Thanks

PS: Check gets here in 4 days

Too bad i changed my mind about selling my car or you could have bought it, already fully moded too.

I know of another awesome trans am if youre interested, it is one of the best looking ones i have seen IMO.

Check out the fl section on this site. There's alot of f-body guys here in jax, we've recently started a meet/cruise once a month.

Here's a link to the april meet thread.

If you get an A4 you will never be happy if you really wanted the M6. I know I never was.

Yea its one of those things get what you want not what you think "well this will do" cause you'll never be happy until you get it. If you want a autu then get that but if you want a manual because you rem. how fun it was to drive but u cant find any cause there harder to find. GO with the m6 there harder to find for a reason and you wont be sorry if that what you were looking for.
