Default Started my car today and its running like crap?

Well Those who do not know already I am building my own rear mount set-up. Today I wanted to make sure the oil system was working right so I started my car up with the charge pipes off I pluged in my maf and iat to the pipe to my tb. I have not done anything to fuel yet. Well when I stated it up it keeps wanting to stall,I was thinkinhg maybe because the exhaust was loading it up because of the back pressure, I have no clue though just made me kind of nervous.

If you don't have much tubing in front of the MAF it will freak out.

Have you installed larger injectors yet without a tune maybe?

no injectors yet but maybe it could be the tubing.

it's probably the MAF being in the open like that... unhook the maf and start the car. If the MAF is the cause, it should run just fine speed density.

having a turbo on and the cold side not hooked up doesn't make it run bad. I ran mine for the first heat cycle like that without any problem.

Yea I Didn;t think that the cold piping off would matter. I do have my wastegate off maybe all the exhaust is trying to go out of the wastegate flange?

that wouldn't affect the way an engine runs either.

I think it would because of the build up of back pressure the exhaust is creating.

i really dont think it is due to backpressure either... the exhaust is going to find the easiest way out.. some will go right out of the wastegate flange, the rest will go through the turbo... i doubt that if the turbo alone doesnt create enough backpressure to cause it to run poorly than the turbo as well as an addition 1+ inch opening surely wont.

Yea I thought it would escape the easiest way out also, I am just trying to figure it out thats all. Ill try to just put my lid back on and see if that makes a difference, also I just found out my battery is bad that may be the reason
