I rigged mine. I got some black 1/2inch foam weatherstripping from wal mart. Took a 4" strip and lined the inside of one of my vents. Then the xd16 gauge just sits in there perfect.

I just recently received (3) XD-16 gauges and have yet to install them. My question is I heard that those guages can not be used as a real time everyday guage, but as a tuning tool only. Is this the case?

I used to have one of those....... the only problem is i had to get rid of it......

Cage needed to go thru there LOL

Im a big fan of the 2 5/8 gauges.... bigger and easier to see... and they look in the A/C Vents on TA's....

I was going to put the 2 5/8" in the vents but then I thought I would rather have cold air coming through the vents on a hot summer day. lol

Ahhhh A/C is over rated LOL

nah i know....

You could always just use the 2 on the left and that would still leave 3 to cool the car...... think about it the 3 vents that are left would blow alot of cold air since the other 3 were plugged LOL

Its all good.
