Default Help! Ebay side vents suck!

I ordered those side and front vents [from that guy on ebay] that are mirrored. They don't fit well, and they look like i bought them from auto zone. To get them to fit i had to use adhesive, and fucked up the stock black plastic inserts. Does anyone know where i can order some REAL stainless inserts that replace the stock ones. I am desperate, I cant drive around like this! I am going to take them off for the time being. On a side note, the front ones that fit in the nose don't look half bad, but i wouldn't mind just doing it the right way all around and buy real steel pieces for them too if possible.

Send dragonZ28 a PM, to see if he still makes them. Very good product. They are stainless inserts that attach to your existing vents. Heres a picture of his product->

Yes i have them on my car.

I will try and get pics tomorrow. I will also contact the company, which i wont mention because i don't think they are sponsers, and tell them what i think of their product. These were not cheep ($55 or so for the sides and another $55 for the fronts.)
*Monitor => [would it be a problem if i started a thread with the company's name in the title and pictures so that other members thinking of purchasing their product could read an honest review? If not i totally understand, just trying to inform forum members.]

CLEARIFY!!! I noticed that mike (aka miffinbuster or dragonz28) sold inserts (at one time or another) on ebay as well. I did NOT purchase mine from mike [although i wish at this point that i had) and have pm'd him about purchasing his (hopefully he still makes them): Sorry for any confusion this may have caused.

He still makes them and they are on ebay all the time. Here is mine. Before and after the stainless Trans Am overlays. They shine so well you can see the reflection of my grass off the Trans Am overlays.

Done and Done! ordered mike's stainless inserts (for $23 more than i paid for that plastic crap!) and will install them as soon they come in. Well, as soon as i can find someone to sell me stockers to replace the one i mangles with supper glue. Until then, I will remove the ugly ones and drive "ventless"

Matt you do make some top quality stainless items! I love the look on my red car with the chrome ZR1's. I have everything so far (side vent covers, Trans Am overlays, PONTIAC overlay on the rear bumper) except the nostril covers! How 'bout a multi-purchase discount on the nostril covers since my ride is a moving tribute to your stainless mastery

You wanna get SS TA vent covers from muffinbuster. Does an awesome job.
I've bought SS sail panel covers inserts LS1 and he made me a SS custom honeycomb ram air grille cover. This guy doesn't **** around with his work.
