Or just put wax on it, and don't remove it to you get there. I put wax on the car behind the rear tires when I go to the track so the rubber won't stick.

( the can's got a new charger with it sprayed on the front of it, looks pretty good ) i seen it at wally world the last time i was there must be new never seen it before, you tape off where you want it to end and spray it on its like a graphite color looks kinda like a bra color but stays on till you wash it off by hand i guess .......

Just get a bra for long trips, not so sure how well all the things everybody has said would hold up against a rock. The bra is thick and somewhat padded so it protects the best.

yup,
Also, when I worked at JFK airport, we would import some serious $ cars (McClaren F1's, HyWire Prototype...) and they would mostly have a clear plastic film. It was thick though, thicker than shrinkwrap and you didn't really notice it was there. It would even be good to keep on the car. Though I have no idea where to get it.

I drove my car 2500 miles from NJ to FL in a week and didnt get any nicks/cracks/chips. Just a whole lot of bugs. Put a thick coat of wax the nite before u leave and youll be fine. That seems really excessive for only 150 miles unless you have a garage queen show car.
