Fellow ricers: Annoying clear corner problem
As much as I like the clear corners(black back) with my Halo's I'm starting to get real annoyed.
I'm sure I'm in the minority with this problem, but hopefully someone else has fixed this and can give me some good advice.
My driver side clear corner leaked bad, new. Fogged up horribly, collected water, etc. I drilled some holes to alleviate the problem, it worked great for the most part, but when I wash the car the light housing floods....AND shocker the bulb blows out. Annoying.
I guess I can buy a new housing, but I was just wondering if there was an easy/cheap solution to keep the housing from flooding-THAT WORKS. I know I can try to seal it, I want to hear from folks who have had success doing so.
Also, is there an easier way than removing the entire headlight to get into the DRL and replace the bulb? Damn, that's an annoying adventure, that requires aiming my headlights every time. Aye yae yae.....F me for putting these dumb things on

If you have to reaim your headlight after removing it you're doing something wrong. I sealed my clears when I bought them with marine grade silicone and have had zero issues in the last 4 years.

The water comes in through the bulb sockets. If you look at the gap between the bumper and the head lamps you can see the sockets. All you need to do it toss some tape over the two sockets and you should be all set. Worked for me.
