Get some ARP head studs and cometic gaskets...and never have to replace this stuff again... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Timing cover gasket and water pump gaskets are optional. The stock onese are metal with the silicone seal. A timing cover crank seal is highly recommended since you have the cover off. Other than that there isn't a ton of things to do. Especially if you get some studs and either cometic gaskets or the spring steel GM gaskets.
