Default Crank is toast.. options

Whatever went through the engine jacked up the crank.

Besides a new GM unit who makes a nicer LS2 crank?

As I remember the LS1 and LS2 cranks are different, right? I don't see LS2 cranks listed on any vendors sites.

Thoughts? They are both 3.62 stroke, right?

Oh, and this is a 24x engine.

Unless you are going to upgrade the rest of the motor, the stock crank is probably the strongest part of your motor. I'd just keep the stock one, then if you have extra money go for pistons then rods. Just my opinion.

Yea, I just need one yesterday. My big question is "Are LS1 and LS2 cranks the same?"

Unless you have a 24x LS2.. then I guess it's exactly the same.

Thanks,
Found a pull-out crank locally for $500.. might have her fired up by Friday.

The casting number on an LS1 crank is 12552216

Now I need the casting number on an LS2 crank.

If they are interchangable then I'm set since I have several good LS1 cranks laying about.
