If they actually sell a new challenger that looks like that... I might have to get me one of those.

I'll still put good money down that they'll be overpriced and overweight... just like most of the crap coming out of Detroit these days

Yup, my guess is upwards of $38,000 for anything with a V-8 and upwards of 4000lbs. Top of the line SRT-8 will probably be close to $50 when all said and done. At least at first. But if they don't move as quickly as expected, DC will do the normal detroit thing and offer rebates and incentives. Look at 04 GTO's and how much they were originally going for. Now you can get a pretty damn good deal on a new GTO much less a leftover.

still talke that the base will be the 6l hemi at 425hp and 28-31k, the motor in this car is the 392 v8 hemi pushing 525hp and its been available as a turn key crate motor for a few years. Im guessing that will be in the srt model. And it wont be more then a current srt 8 charger. Which is low 40's

I already got a 70, so just gotta save my pennies for an 09! I just hope they do a regular production run on them, not the limited bs and out of the average persons price range.

I've never seen a stock car with a roll cage, obviously that first one is built up.

i liek the platform that they are using for the new chalenger, just not the claims of it being a world beater sprots car.
sorry to break it to the mopar nuts, but it takes more than a hemi to make a 4k lbs luxary car platform into a sportscar. i like the new car, i jsut think they are lying to themselves and everyone else if they think it will be any sort of flashback to the 60's/early 70's.
if performance is the grading system, i will take the new camaro over the challenger anyday.

it'll be somewhere around 3600 - 3800, just like the gto......loaded with all of the options, nice, comfortable, decent stock motor and a little on the heavy side but nothing more rwhp cant fix.
