Default Best line lock to go with?

I am wanting to get a line lock system to get ready for the track this year. I know SLP makes one, but I was wondering if that's the one that most of you guys are going with or if I should go with another brand. Thanks!

SLP's wiring setup sucks. It's a ground lift and a toggle switch and not a momentary switch. If you get a short in the wire it's gonna turn on and you'll never know it until you hit the brakes and you don't have any or it locked up. I have one on my car and just rewired it with a lighted on/off switch and a momentary activation switch. I also had trouble with it leaking. I had to get a new line from the output of the solenoid to the ABS block since the fitting stripped when I was trying to stop it from leaking. I used thread sealant on the fittings and haven't had any issues now. The front mount style like SLP is more of a pain in the *** to get in there but it does hide it somewhat. I haven't seen a top mount one installed to know what that setup looks like. They both perform the same.

I have the SLP kit. It works great. but I did wire it up different. I got the 4 switch panel made by Nitrous Outlet from ws6store, and a Hurst T handle with the 12v switch in it. Now instead of SLP's toggle switch, you have to hit the arm button on the switch panel and hold in the button on the shifter. It adds in a extra step to use it, but it makes launches a lot easier. You just let go of the thumb switch in the shifter and it releases the line lock[IMG][/IMG]
