Default What springs used for Thunder Racing 224/224 .563/.563 114 LSA

Hey guys. I have a 98 Z28 and I recently broke a spring so my car is in the shop. I have a TR 224/224 114 cam in there and for the life of me I cannot remember which springs. I think they are 9012's? Does that sound likely? What springs are people usually using with this cam?

Thanks guys, I put the cam in so long ago I don't even remember what I used

You need to find out if you have beehive or duals. The retainers/seats are different for each, this will determine what spring to put in unless you want to change everything.

Those are the Comp 918's. You probably have 918s as Thunder pushes them with their cam packages. It's in your best interest to be sure though before ordering new springs.

Thanks for the help guys, I used to know everything about my car but i haven't really driven it for 2 years and work has taken precedent. I remember ordering the most popular springs for that cam all from the TR site, and those 918's sound correct. So to be 100% sure, how can I check if they are in fact the 918's? Is there any way to be sure by eyeballing them?
