Hi, Just had the same prob on bleeding the sons car. Petal down 2 inches before it hit solid. We were getting fluid and air out. If nothing is being pushed thru to the slave. I'd guess the master has air in it, bad seals inside. Do they hear kinda a like a soft whoosh when they press the petal? His was doing it. He got lucky. Friend of his had an adjustable Ram master, bought it & didn't use it. Son bought it from him & installing it today. Just to let ppl know. Advance Auto has a Clutch master ( By Raybestos. ) Very, very resonable. I had to call their 800# to do it. I ordered one, then the kid came up with the other. Think I have a spare one now. I'd try the master 1st. Dave
