Default Looking for fairly Modded Camaro or FRC 'Vette

Well I'm starting my search on either a fairly modded Camaro or possibly FRC 'Vette. I used to have a prestine '99 SS, and I miss it dearly. Now I'm looking for something that could replace that, but is modded with some type of LSx-based motor. I don't really want any N2O cars, but I'll take a look at it! This will be used as a nice-day cruiser with power to back it up. Six-speeds are definitely preferred. I'm located in Buford, GA...about 45 minutes north of Atlanta. I'm not looking at spending too much over $15K, and that might even be a stretch. Show me what you've got!

Yeah this post was mainly directed towards the Camaro part. But I thought I'd throw in the FRC part just to see if anyone had anything.

I have a 5,000 mile 01 pewter Hardtop Z28 that I may be intersted in selling. Not sure what direction I'm going to take right now. The motor is completely stock with all bolt-ons. Full tubular suspension front to rear. Adj QA1 coil overs in front and 12 ways in rear. 6 point wolf chrome-moly cage with removeable door bars. Corbeau seats, 18" Z06 wheels or draglites. T-56 with all upgrades besides hardened gears or viper output shaft, moser 12-bolt, 33splines, locker, 4.11's.....the list goes on.
This is an extremely clean car that has not been wrecked, I am the second owner and the guy I bought it from said it had never been driven in the rain, I also haven't driven it in the rain. For whatever thats worth.
I would take $17,000 for the car. I'm not in a pinch to sell right now but would for the right price.

I have a 1998 Navy Blue Metallic Camaro Z28. This car is a hardtop car. It has around 76,020 miles. This car has leather seats that are in excellent condition. Inside of this car is amazing. Car originally came with tape player but I will leave the Sony CD player in for the buyer if they want it. The last 20,000 miles were mostly interstate, traveling from school to home. I haven't really had much of a chance to get this car to the strip but it is pretty damn fast. The modifications are as follows:

TEA Stage 2.5 5.3 Heads
Comp Cam 224/224
Hooker Super Comp Headers(ceramic coated)
Mufflex 4" y-pipe
Spintech 4"exhaust
RPM Level V A4
Yank 3000 Stall
LS6 intake
Comp Hardened Pushrods
Ported TB
ASP pulley
28.8 Injectors
SS rims
New A/C compressor
Detroit TruTrac

All the modifications were installed professionally by Vengeance Racing out of Atlanta. I am located in Charleston, SC. E-mail or call for any questions or pics. (931)637-2418 or fendern1@citadel.edu

I take it this car is set up for drag racing? Sounds like a sweet ride!

Sounds nice, but it's not really what I'm looking for. Best of luck with the sale!

I guess what I'm looking for is a car with a built motor (read as 408 or something similar). I'm trying to find a killer street car, if you catch my drift

Most all the components are for drag racing but it is completely driveable. I do not use it as a D.D. but I wouldn't be afraid to. Other than the Corbeau seats all the interior is there and the A/C and full stereo is still on the car. This is a STREET car that works very well on the track
