Default Looking for decent racing seats... are these crap?

I know you get what you pay for so im hoping that someone has tried these. I want something comfortable, and in either a plain black color scheme or red/black to match the car.

These are all over ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-LEA...QQcmdZViewItem

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2x-BL...QQcmdZViewItem

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2x-RE...QQcmdZViewItem

If you guys have any other ideas for something better or if you know about these please let me know. I don't want to buy junk but i dont want to pay 500 a seat either.

Thanks,

Ben

I bought cheap seats and I hate them. Pony up for some t/a or name brand seats.

I got the ones that have DAD embroidered in the head of them. Very cumfy seats and mine are going on 5 years old now. Mine aren't leather but I do know if you park your car outside all the time they will fade.

My advice when buying seats; sit in them first!!! I was set on getting Corbeaus, I sat in couple, AHHH! It was like sitting on bricks. I then was able to sit in some Sparco's, it was awesome. You get what you pay for, no doubt about it. My Sparco Torino II is very comfortable and grabs me well during hard corners. Everyone who's sat in it also agrees.

'Trust' has Mad Racing Concepts seats like mine... He just opted for the two-tone (same price). PM me or him for details...

how does the factory seat belts work with those MRC seats? they look like they might rub on your neck.

I used the factory seatbelt guide, attached it with a velcro strap. I eventually will figure out how to permanently attach it but for now it works well

It can be done. Mad Racing and Arizen are GREAT seats! I just have my seat belts running through the seat. It's ok, but will ride up your neck.
