Default true duals question

So, I saw the teaxs speed duals:
http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/cate...MID=2&catid=56

would it be possible to get these installed on an lt1 camaro?

If not, is there catback good?
Its only $225 w/o tips, pretty cheap.

they want 459 for true duals, that seems way to high, you can make your own way cheaper

Yeah they did raise price.
I emailed them a while back and they said people with LT1's buy them and with little modifcation make them work.

You want sound or performance?

Sound- True Dual>Single
Performance- True Dual<Single

I was under the impression that true duals made more power than a catback.

It depends. They are more free flowing, so they can be used to make more power. Stock cars, or those that aren't far from stock, have plenty of flow with a 3" catback. It could be debated whether or not TDs with 3" pipes are too free flowing.

Velocity=power
True duals on a stock/mild car is a waste, until your making good power stick with single 3 inch.

even 500hp+ stroked or blown LT1's or LS1's dont even need true duals
they just ruin ground clearance for no reason

Well, I'm doing a track rental next week to test my TDs compared to my track times last year with my Borla cat back...We'll see if going from a 3" Borla cat back to 3" TDs with an X-pipe and Edelbrock 304 SDTs was worth it...
