Default H&C for an 04 Zo6 Recommendations

My Zo6 is not a daily driver, but I still want it to be street worthy and to pass Virginia emissions inspection. I principally drive the car at HPDEs at Summit Point. It already has the typical bolt-ons and I am seriously thinking about Heads and a Cam. I would appreciate any recommendations that this very knowledgable membership can offer. I am thinking about spending approximately $7,000.

A simple dry nitrous system and headers will make roughly same power as heads and cam...sometimes more power.

You are really going to have a problem if you are wanting to pass emmisions with a large cam. Having an MS4, I can tell you that you are not going to pass emmisions. The best way would (as much as I dont like N20) be Nitrous.....

I am specifically looking for a set-up that will work well on road courses, not drag racing. Sorry if I was not clear.

i think a 224 cam and AFR 205's would suit your needs...maybe even a 228 if tuned good enough
