Is this clutch ok?
Based on the pictures does the disc and everything look ok? Its a Centerforce clutch. Anybody know what its rated at. The seller doesnt know the part number on it but it was in a 98 WS6. Does this look ok? Not worn too bad?

Personally I would never buy a used clutch, but if you're looking to save money here's my input.
Looks like the pressure plate has a little bit of heat marking. The rust on the disc and pressure plate would make me wonder how long it's been out and if it was beat on when it was in the car. Mic the friction surfaces on the disc and call centerforce to see what service limits are. Have the pressure plate and disc checked for flatness. Visually inspect the friction surfaces for any signs of contamination by clutch fluid, oil or other stuff. Have the pressure plate balanced with the flywheel before you install it if you buy it. Unless you're getting a hell of a deal this is a lot of hoops to jump through, especially on a part that's a decent amount of labor to pull out if it's screwed up.

Personally I'd never buy a second hand clutch. No matter how good it looks, except maybe if it was a tex and looked brand new . Just find a clutch and PP thats cheap and get your FW resurfaced.
