The first Somernites Car show was Saturday, *PICS* First Somernites Cruise carshow/cruise of 2007 was Saturday. I went and put my car in it. 1203 cars showed up and the weather was perfect. I had a blast. Thought I would share a few of the pictures ( not all, I took over 700).
First off, my car:

I like the car show better than the 'cruising'. Traffic goes way to slow and most the cool cars you want to see cruising just go park somewhere. I still drove around for about an hour before getting food and parking to watch crazy people race and about wreak haha. My friends said a guy on a motorcycle rear-ended a Mustang, and it destroyed the bike. Said the rider was OK though so that was good.

It is impossible to pick just one car/truck out of all the amazing ones there. I loved so many of them. I can tell this year is going to be a great year for the Somernites car shows, and I can't wait till the May show!
Oh theres a story to the big rail dragster. It was there to promote the "Bluegrass Nationals" when it and other big cars like that will be coming to the local dragstrip. Needless to say, I will be there.
