Default I Got A Problem I Need Some Help!!!!!!

i have this misfire problem....... let me tell u what happend.......

the day of the nasty storm (last wends) i was on my way home .... then bammmmm i hit a big puddle of water.... and my car starts to hesitate when i accelerate but when i floor it it has no problem ive changed my plugs wires and fuel filter and im still having the same problem can anyone tell me what the problem is. im hoping its not the coil packs at auto zone there 45.99 a pc. and i can not get my discount with it because i have to order it. so if i can get any help please let me know thanks

oh yea i forgot to mention i also have a random misfire (p0300) code that i checked while i was at work

Might want to try pulling the wires, maybe some water got stuck in the boots, therefore, can't evaporate. Possibly fried your wires as well. (low chance of that)


Cant think of anything less unless some water got into the harness somehow. (or PCM)

but i have changed my wires..... but it still does it....i just found a post about this.... so i guess its good to close it huh?

Check your computer.... i had water get in the harness right where it plugs into the computer!!!! I thought it was weather tight but u KNOW....

absolutly!!!! Or CAM sensor.

Maybe water got in it?

Most of the time when it goes out it just runs like **** and bearly drives at all...if at all

it really sucks......im going to change the crankshaft sensor tomorrow.....hopefully thats the problem i had someone tell me that when i hit the puddle of water it cracked/fried the sensor and thats where the misfire is coming from cause it has to do with the spark and fuel system as well

Get your SES codes scanned first...

Im gonna have my tuners back here hopefuly soon (guy wont answer the fone, and I havent tried very hard)

+1.... when i put LT's and tried to make my own o2 extensions they worked fine until they got wet/rained... it would misfire and run like ***.... o2 wires probably got wet or went bad....
