Question Easyest way to change plugs on 93 formula LT1

im a n00b i just got the car and the plugs look like a bitch!

my car is idleing liek crap and spuddering when i accelerate im guessing it has to do with the opti spark from what ive read so far! any sudgestions? and please whats the easyest way to do plugs

i got one of the plugs out and its fouled to crap!

it all started when the idle started gettin crappy on friday now its horrible when i acelerate. its as its bogging out! does this mean opti spark?

As far as getting to the plugs, a lift is by far the easiest way to get to them. Removing the alternator is a little extra work, but makes the #1 plug easier to do.

You might want to have someone with good knowledge of that car look at it if replacing the plugs doesn't work for you. It could have several other problems other than the opti-spark. They cost alot of money to just throw one on it without knowing for sure. It ould be fuel pressure related or a sensor problem of some sort. That being a 93 you can rule out MAF sensor at least.

Well if one plug is fouled then the rest are probably no different. Before you tear into that motor, and you will have to tear into it if you wanna' get to the 'opti, check for engine trouble codes also...

The passenger side last 2 plugs are very awefully to get! Just take your time.

thanks for the help guys.. im gonna start to change the plugs in a few mins when the engine cools down a little bit.

the crappy idleing and boggng out happens after driving for a min or 2 when i first start it up its not like that about 4 mins of driving it starts acting up any sugestions?
