i've noticed that some trans-am's(98-02) have different front bumpers, one has it where the parking lights and fog lights are next to each other, and the other style doesn't have that same set-up, is one of them an aftermarket front bumper?

There are Formulas and Trans Ams. Formulas have v6 features but are packed with a LS1.

Firebirds and Formulas have them next to each other. Trans Ams have the fog lights closer to the center of the bumper. See sig pic.

different bumpers, spoiler, ground effects. Same motor. Couple other little things here and there. Formulas are a little more rare than trans ams

formulas also came in hard tops, where as trans ams were all t tops from 98 to 2002. besides the front bumper, side skirts, spoiler and rear bumper, there really arent any differences

TA had more standard options, i.e. t-tops, leather, power options, etc. Formulas had to request those options.
